The Swatches/Color palettes provide you with many choices to apply color on your document pages. This section is a review of the default colors as-well-as many useful custom colors. Select one of the color types below, or use the navigational menu on the left to learn more about how color is used in commercial offset printing.

• Default Colors - Here you will find out about the list of all the document colors that you have available when you create a new document.
• Process Colors - All color images like pictures and photographs are printed on an offset press with the four process color inks.
• Color Builds - You can create millions of unique color build combinations with CMYK.
• Spot Colors - These are specific individual colors that can be used alone, or in combination with other colors, including process colors.
• Rich Black - This custom color build can be used to replace the default black when a consistent dark black is desired.
• Knockout Black - This custom color build can be used to make a consistent black thru-out your document layout.
• Bindery Mark Colors - There are many types of bindery marks used in a pressroom, like marks for die cutting, scores, folds, and perforations. This custom build color can help you with defining marks for use in the offset printing environment.
