Publish as PDF - Microsoft Office Publisher 2007 |
|
|
To export as a PDF in Microsoft® Office Publisher®, we are going to use the free Microsoft Add-In. This will include a publishing function to the File menu options. We will demonstrate how to do this in the following 7 steps.
Select the File > Publish as PDF or XPS… menu option.
Select a destination folder using the navigational tools, then in the File name: field type any name you like. Next, in the Save as type: pop-up menu, select PDF.
For the Optimize for: selection, make sure Commercial Press is selected -- if not use the Change… button to make this selection from the available list.
If you click the Advanced button, you will be presented with more settings. The default setting for Commercial Press will be fine. Now, click the Print Options… button.
In the Paper section, make sure that the Size: field is larger than your document page size. You can also use the Width: and Height: fields for custom paper sizes. Double check your Orientation so that the entire document fits within the Paper size. For Printer’s marks, check all three boxes -- Crop marks, Allow bleeds, and Bleed marks. When you are finished click the OK button.
Click the OK button in the Publish Options dialog box.
Click the Publish button, and go to your file destination folder to review your PDF file.
